A new local resturant option can get you your pizza, on the go.
Big mama’s pizza truck began two months ago in Pocatello and according to Kayla who started the business, it has been a success.
Kayla Krehbiel, the owner, observed that her business uses, "All homemade dough we make it every day. We have five different options of dough. We make all of our own sauces, we have about six different sauces and all fresh veggies and everything is local nothing is frozen and that’s what sets us apart."
Food trucks are commonly used to sell items such as tacos a fact that has made for some interesting selling opportunities at big mamas pizza.
“We had people ask for tacos and we said, we’ve got pizza!," Krehbiel said.
Despite the tough economic times in which we live, in which starting a business would present some challenges, Kayla overcame her apprehension, and started big mamas pizza.
"I pitched it to my Mom who is my partner, and so we just kinda got rolling about two months ago and now, here we are," Krehbiel added.
Kayla feels inspired by her recent undertaking and feels that anyone can become, an entrepreneur.
She said that, "You gotta take risks to be successful. And that’s what I did and now here I am, successful."
