One man is in custody after police say he broke into a Pocatello salvage yard and then hid in the trunk of a vehicle.
According to Lieutenant Paul Manning with the Pocatello Police Department, officers were called to Shaw Auto Parts on North 1st just after midnight Thursday after several alarms were activated. Once on scene, police spotted a man inside the fenced area of the yard.
Officers eventually found their way inside the compound and noticed two buildings had been forced open. In the process of searching the business, a K-9 found 44-year-old Scott B. Corn hiding in the trunk of one of the vehicles on the yard.
Corn has been charged with burglary and is being held in the Bannock County Jail.
