An Idaho Falls man was arrested nearly four months after police say he beat a two-year-old boy,
Idaho Falls Police arrested Leroy Simpson, 29, for aggravated battery stemming from an investigation that started on February 23, 2013.
Detectives say a two-year-old boy was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center by his mother with multiple bruises to his face and torso.
Investigators determined that Simpson was one of several people living at the home in the 200 block of S. Water at the time the boy was injured.
The boy was placed in state custody following the abuse as detectives looked into the incident.
Then, on July 2, 2013, enough probable cause was developed to arrest Simpson for aggravated battery against the child.
Simpson was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
