Bonneville County Sheriff's Deputies arrested an Idaho Falls man who pointed a gun at another driver during a road rage incident.

Deputies booked Christian Robertson, 21, into the Bonneville County Jail early Wednesday morning.

Detectives say Robertson was upset with another driver on the road. They were driving on Ammon Road between First Street and Upland Drive. Robertson pulled into the opposite lane of traffic alongside the victim's car and pointed a gun at the other driver. Then, he pointed it upward and fired it.

The driver of the other car ducked down, sped up and called law enforcement. Robertson turned around and drove the other direction.

Deputies located Robertson's car at his home at 755 Kimberly.
