UPDATE:The FBI and Fort Hall Police say they have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing on July 13.
As we reported last week, tribal authorities issued an arrest warrant for Arthur Fred Jr.
Officials say thanks to media coverage of the case which resulted in tips from the public, authorities were able to find Fred on Saturday.
Fred was a passenger in a car that was stopped while driving on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation. Fred and another person in the vehicle were taken into custody without incident.
The FBI and the Fort Hall Tribal Police joint investigation are ongoing.

The FBI Salt Lake City Division and the Fort Hall Tribal Police Department would like to question Arthur Fred, Jr., about a stabbing which happened on July 13.
Detectives say an adult male was taken to the hospital just before 4:00 p.m., with multiple stab wounds.
A Tribal Arrest Warrant has been issued for Fred who is described as 50 years old, 5'10" tall, weighing approximately 240 lbs.
He should be considered armed and dangerous and the public is advised not to approach this individual and to contact authorities with information regarding his whereabouts.
