More Crews to Beaver Pass Fire in Butte County

UPDATE: One of the 20-man handcrews that was working the 2 1/2 mile fire will now be responding to the Beaver Pass Fire in Butte County.

The Beaver Pass Fire was started by lightning Tuesday about 10 miles north of Arco.

About 30 acres have been burned there.

No structures are threatened by this fire and there is currently no estimated time of containment.

The lightning-caused fire has burned around 50 acres so far about 10 miles north of Arco.

Multiple engines, one helicopter, and one single-engine air attack plane are at the scene.

No structures are currently threatened.
