The Tautphaus Park Zoo in Idaho Falls has welcomed a new member to the family.

Little Kapuki, which means first born daughter in Swahili, was born early on the morning of October 3rd.

She’s the newest member of the zebra family and with her addition, there are now 4 zebras at the zoo.

She’s doing great and weighs about 90 pounds.

Even though the zoo is currently closed, there will be an opportunity to see the zebra filly during Boo at the Zoo which is on October 29th through the 30th from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
