More and more; people are looking for healthier eating habits and new exercises. Now, residents in Rexburg have a new store coming that will help them with their daily exercise.

The store that’s coming is Bill’s Bike Shop and they’ve been wanting to make the move to Rexburg for quite some time now.

Located just feet away from Porter Park, Bill’s Bike and Run in Rexburg will offer a full service of bicycles, bike accessories and running accessories.

“Well we’ve always wanted to be up here in Rexburg, it’s always been kind of a thought, with the growth of the school, with the students population on the rise, we decided it was time to get up here, to service the college students as well as the people here in Rexburg” said owner Brandon Fell.

“I’m extremely excited, just being up here over the last couple weeks, this community is awesome and you can really tell that there’s a lot of activity here” said partner-owner Gray Augustus.

It may not look like much now, but in just a few days Bill’s Bike and Run will be full of bikes, helmets, clothes and employees. Brandon says they plan to start out with about 6 staff members.

“You know we’re just looking for those people that are good with people, that have the people skills, that are passionate and excited both about cycling and running” continued Brandon.

Bill’s Bike and Run hopes to be able to help out with different community events.

Their hours will be from Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The shop doesn’t have a set opening date yet, but they could open as soon as next week.
