An update to a story we first brought you last week. It turns out the giant load with a final destination in the Gate City was even larger than we thought.
Thursday morning, the 210 foot trailer, 20-axle beast delivered the final piece of a new a car eating shear at Pacific Recycling.
The massive unit was temporarily delayed in Wyoming but another Pocatello company came to the rescue. Petersen Incorporated was able to get things moving again with just a minimal delay.
The new shear will expand the services offered at the Pocatello Pacific Recycling facility while doubling their efficiency.
They hope to flip the switch and start munching cars and trucks with the new machine sometime in mid-December.
