A Pocatello woman is behind bars after attempting to pass forged checks at a local business.
According to police Deborah Ann Burgess was at the Quick Cash Store on Yellowstone in Pocatello when she tried to cash the illegal checks.
Burgess was arrested on multiple forgery charges as the result of several investigations.
