Officers with the Pocatello Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding the man suspected in robbing two convenience stores early Thursday morning.

Police say the suspect robbed the Jacksons Food Store on Pocatello Creek Road just after midnight and The Pit Stop on North Arthur around 1 Thursday morning.

The suspect is described as possibly being a white male, 5’9 to 6’ tall, 160 to 180 pounds, and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, hunter orange ski mask, light blue or grey jeans, and black shoes. Detectives say he was armed but the weapon was not a firearm.

Police are asking convenience stores in the area to review their surveillance footage from the night because they believe it is possible the suspect entered other stores.

If you have any information on these crimes you’re asked to contact detectives with the Pocatello Police Department at 234-6121.
