An Idaho Falls man, wanted for aggravated battery, lead police on a short foot pursuit before he was arrested.

Police say Christopher Hollis, 18, was arrested for aggravated battery, resisting an officer, four city misdemeanor warrants and two Bonneville County misdemeanor warrants.

The aggravated battery arrest stems from an investigation in which a woman reported being beaten by Hollis on March 8 in the 300 block of W 19th.

Last Friday night, officers learned Hollis was possibly at a home in the 2100 block of Evans. Officers made contact with Hollis and he ran from the home. Police chased Hollis and found him hiding under a trailer in the 800 block of Singletree. Hollis refused to comply with the officer’s commands to come out. Officers deployed pepper spray in order to get Hollis out from under the trailer.

Christopher Hollis was arrested and booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
