An Idaho Falls man was tasered Wednesday night after he ran off during a police interview.

Officers arrested Mark T. Warren, 53, for disturbing the peace, resisting and obstructing an officer and battery.

Police were called to the Alive After 5 event in downtown Idaho Falls regarding a disturbance between Warren and another man.

Witnesses told officers that the man had confronted Warren about touching children at the event.

When police went to question Warren, he ran and refused to stop despite several commands to do so. An officer deployed his taser and the man was taken into custody without further incident.
