If you like puppets, then you will be in luck tomorrow.

The Popcorn Shop in Pocatello will have two professional puppet makers in town tomorrow to help you create your own puppet to take home and love.

Besides taking home a new friend, you'll also be taking home a good feeling because nearly all of the proceeds will be sent to organizations that aid street children and impoverished women in India.

“When we opened the business, we kind of wanted it to be for a purpose other than just to own a business,” said Christy Kelshaw of The Popcorn Shop and More. “We wanted to be a positive impact on our community here in Pocatello, as well as a global community kind of thing. It’s been really incredible to just be an avenue for that.”

The make-it-take-it puppet workshop will take place this Saturday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The cost is $6.00.
