"You are either keeping up with the times or you are falling behind," said Dave Schwicht with Keller Williams Realty East Idaho.
After seeing the amazing views captured with a drone and GoPro, local realtors Dave and Cyndi Schwicht were ready to bring this fresh idea to Idaho Falls.
"I think you have to pay attention to what's being successful out there. What other people are using. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. Just take advantage of the technology we have these days," said Dave.
As it soars into the sky, this quad copter is able to capture 360 degree views of a home and property and also snaps pictures that can be seen on an iPhone.
"People are excited about the technology. We usually get a crowd when we start flying it. People come out of their homes to find out what it is and they ask what's going on," said Cyndi Schwicht
This idea is much less expensive than the alternative of flying an airplane over these homes and is being used in other large cities around the country.
"Just because we live in a community that's 50-60 thousand doesn't mean we don't deserve good things. If it's out there, let's provide it," explained Dave. "It's not horribly expensive and we can do this for free for our clients."
Competition can be tough in the housing market, so the Schwicht's focus on how they can set houses apart and also make the buyer feel confident.
"This allows them to see everything. There's nothing you can hide and we are not trying to hide anything. We want people to know. We want them to feel good about their purchase they are making and this is one way we can help them to do that."
