What started as a routine traffic stop in Soda Springs turned into a record setting drug bust.
Officer Tyler Scheierman pulled over Brian Eng, 58, of Rhenton, Washington, last Friday around 9 p.m. for failing to signal a turn.
As Scheierman approached the car, he noticed a strong odor of Marijuana coming from Eng's vehicle.
The officer searched the car and discovered two large duffel bags containing 41 lbs. of marijuana in separately packaged bags.
Scheierman estimated the street value at $100,000.
Chief Joe Rice says it's the most significant marijuana bust in the history of the Soda Springs Police Department.
