The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident involving a scuffle between Idaho Falls Police Officers and a 44-year-old man who temporarily lost consciousness during the arrest.

Police were called to the 400 block of G Street around 9:40 p.m, Sunday night, for a report of a disturbance. As police questioned witnesses, a male suspect named Ronald R. Mencer, Jr., approached the officers and tried to hit them with an unidentified object. One officer pushed Mencer away.

Mencer started to kick at officers and even tried to bite them.  Police used a drive stun on Mencer multiple times to gain control of the situation. It was ineffective.

Additional officers were called for assistance. Eventually they were able to detain Mencer.  A short time after his arrest, Mencer lost consciousness.

Paramedics were called. He was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

A few years back Officer Molten Beat my neffue to a pulp And nothing was done about that he still to this day suffers for the beating. There are witnesses to this Beating and clearly this is another Attack on the Society that the Idaho Falls Poice Department is clearly Getting away with, the justice is not right Ronald Mencer is a friend of mine for 28 years and hes never once faught anyone, or raised a hand to anyone, my oppinion is that all the dirty cops need to be shot they are making the comunity worse by all the corruption , Molton, Polter, Steal, And Polter is a rapist and got away with it numerous perverted acts cause hes a police officer , its not the people that idaho falls should be worried about its the police that are supposed to protect and serve..They intimidate and beat people and its clealy obvious that the police department needs to be looked at better. I have a number of storries that we have made complaints about and nobody has ansered or investigated any of them , I hope the dirty pigs go to hell .
