I have written to the mayor many times about this problem. I am glad that other citizens finally see the problem with new comers into our city.If property owners are held accountable it cant cause the taxes to rise. Be responsible for your own property or be fined. It seems simple to me. Other areas may need assistance if the owner is living on the land and diabled, sick or unable to do it themselves. We have many churches and groups that would be glad to lend a hand in some of these places. Pocatello has to be proud of its city before we can get other people to see how great it is to stay and have a business. I am delighted that the Mayor will stay on top of this problem. I will do my part by keeping my street clean and the dumpsters full of trash people leave on the curb. Pocatello is my home town. I am proud to live here. we have great schools, good teachers and friendly people. Lets work together for a cause of being proud of our town. thanks.
