UPDATE: The man who barricaded himself in a truck Saturday is in custody.

Pocatello Police have closed off Barton Road as they try to talk a man out of his truck. The man is considered armed.

Lieutenant Paul Manning said this started when the male suspect allegedly pulled a gun on his girlfriend at a home. He then got into his truck. Police have the truck stopped in the 800 block of Barton Road near the Bannock Humane Society. They believe he still has the gun and he is currently not responding to officers. Police have called out the SWAT Team.

Idaho State Police have also responded to the scene.

Check back for updates.
