The Tautphaus Park Zoo is excited to offer kids’ education classes during spring break.

The half-day mini-camp will be full of feathers, scales, shells, fur and slime.

Kindergarteners through 3rd graders will be at the Critter Coats camp while 4th graders through 8th graders will be at the Animal Café camp.

The camps last for two days; the first one starts on the week of March 25th and the following camp will start on April 1st.

“It’s a different way that the kids can see the zoo and interact a little more with the animals, so that helps to get them excited about the zoo and hopefully care about the animals and care about the conservation of these animals that we have here at the zoo” said Alicia Ferguson.

The older kids’ camp hours are from 9 to 4 and the younger kids are from 9 to noon.
