A massive cyber attack is planned on personal checking accounts. We're talking about personal accounts at 30 banks across the country. Security firm McAfee released a report today warning about the cyber attack that's aimed at stealing millions of dollars from consumers' bank accounts. McAfee's research supports a report security company R-S-A released in October. Now that knowledge of the scheme has gone public, R-S-A says the organization behind the cyberattack has disappeared from chat rooms.
Say goodbye to extra loud TV commercials, Starting today, blaring commercials that are much louder than the show you are watching are banned. The Federal Communications Commission barred the practice saying ads must maintain the "same average volume" as the programs they accompany. Loud commercials have been a leading source of complaints to the FCC since its consumer call center began reporting top complaints in 2002.
Good news for
Apple
iPhone users. Those fans who lamented the loss of the
Google
Maps App have reason to celebrate. Google Maps for the iPhone is back and it's free and fast. The return of the app comes nearly three months after Apple replaced Google Maps with its own maps app that proved to be less popular. It's a so called drive in the right direction for millions of iPhone users.
