Jennifer Lopez has found a new gig as a mobile phone mogul. The entertainer has teamed up with Verizon Wireless to launch a new mobile brand. Her company, Viva Móvil, will launch a chain of cell phone stores targeted to the Latino population. Lopez had a hand in designing the stores, which will have play areas for kids. She also designed several accessories for smartphones, including cases. The first Viva Móvil store will open on June 15 in New York. At least 14 other stores are planned in Los Angeles, Miami and other cities with large Latino populations.

Electric-car company Tesla says it has paid back a $465-million loan it received from the Department of Energy and the payoff is nearly a decade early. Tesla received one of the department's 30 clean-energy initiative loans in January, 2010. Strong first quarter profits and a near perfect rating from Consumer Reports sent the company's stock soaring. As a result, the company sold more of its shares and its founder made a new $100-million investment. The company says it used some of those proceeds to repay the loan this week.

High school student Zach Sobiech says he wanted to be remembered as, "a kid who went down fighting and didn't really lose." And thanks to a song he wrote before his death that became a YouTube sensation, a lot of people will remember him that way. When the Minnesota teenager learned he didn't have much longer to live, his mom suggested he write letters to loved ones to say goodbye. But instead Sobiech wrote the song "Clouds" which has attracted more than 4 million views -- and even inspired cover versions and a celebrity video. It ended up as number one on the iTunes Top 10 list Wednesday -- two days after the youngster succumbed to bone cancer. He was just 18.

So, Jennifer Lopez is going to have her own Latino US wireless brand - VivaMovil, in partnership with Verizon. With special retail stores.
