You may remember a few months ago when we brought you the story about The Cable Factory, which was the only snowboard cable park in the nation. Well now The Cable Factory is shifting their attention to the summer season.

One of the biggest changes is that they've moved the cable park over water instead of snow, so now wake boarders can get their chance to have some fun.

This advanced run full of ramps and jumps is 700 ft. long of pure adrenaline.

“It’s got a nice kicker for the jump, it’s got an incline rail that just takes you on an incline up about 4 ft. and then we have a feature that we actually built ourselves that’s a 45 ft. rail that has a transfer jump that gets you up on to it, so it’s a lot of fun” said The Cable Factory Owner Brett Kesler.

If that's too much to take in, there's also a beginner run which is much shorter and wide open leaving plenty of space to fall.

“Well it was fun, you mess up a little bit, you hit the water pretty hard but it's really fun, it’s a good way to start out” said first time wake boarder Cody Hill.

“Well I love to wakeboard so getting out there behind the cable is exactly like it is behind the boat without the wake” continued Kesler.

While the cable park is unique in its own way, they're also reaching out to those who prefer to move at a slower pace.

"At the property here though we want to create a recreation spot, an attraction to bring people out to the park, and so we’ve brought in sand, we have a nice beach area, we also have the new standup paddle boards, that’s becoming very popular and we’ve purchased a number of those that we have for rent” said Kesler.

In July there will even be paddle board yoga for those who want to try something new......like developing flexibility and balance at the same time.

The Cable Factory is open from Monday to Saturday.
