One Idaho Falls family received a special surprise late last night and they say that she couldn't have arrived at a better time. Summer Joy met with the family to take a closer look at their very adorable  little present.

"It's just fantastic, I mean there is no greater gift than being a mom. Having the baby this close to mothers day is just, I can't put into words, it's just great," said new mom for the third time, Nikki Poll.

Caralily Poll was born late Saturday evening at 10:45 at Mountain View Hospital weighing in at seven pounds and 15 ounces and 20 inches in length.
Even though Nikki had a rough nine months of pregnancy she says it was all worth it especially when you get to hold your little boy or girl for the first time.

"Shock and awe, just to relies we made her. It makes me think of all the time ahead of her the whole life she has; just all the hope for the future, said new dad for the third time, Cody Poll.

"There is just that instant love," added Nikki.

Mom and dad say that big brother and sister are handling this new addition very well. Nikki's advice to new moms is to take advantage of sleep when you can and even though sometimes life can become crazy remember that you'll always have someone who loves you.

"It's worth it, sometimes it might not seem like it at the moment and there are days that you might want to trade for a twenty minute nap, but for the most part they are definitely worth it. They are a constant fulfillment and joy, its just a feeling that you can't get any where else, " said Nikki.

And because it was mother's day Dad had some special remarks just for mom.

"We celebrated our mothers day yesterday because we knew she wouldn't be able to today and then at the end of it in the evening, surprise. My wife has been a trooper through the whole thing. I'm just happy for her that she has her child now and that there is no where to go, but forward," said Cody.

Between 10 and 14 thousand babies are delivered every day in the United States and the Poll family being apart of those statistics yesterday say that  Caralily just made this Mother's day even more special.

"The first moment that you hold her or him in your arms they just have you wrapped around their little pinky finger. You'll never regret it. What else can I say, it's awesome," said Cody.

Thanks for sharing your story with us, a special Happy Mother's Day to you and congratulations.
