There will be some major changes to the Biggest Show in Idaho this year. After a strong 20 year run, Phil Meador is handing the reigns over to the people of Bannock County. He’s still going to be a huge sponsor of the event but he hopes that by including others, the show will become even bigger as a result.
While everything is still in the planning stages, there are some exciting things being talked about for the Biggest Show in Idaho. The goal is to expand the show to make it a multiday event.
The Biggest Show in Idaho already brings a lot of people to Pocatello and they hope this will increase by adding more events. Early ideas include a possible musical festival, a sanctioned bike race or a fun run.
The fairgrounds have been a great host for the Biggest Show in Idaho and there is a good chance they’ll always be part of the event but future plans could bring the events to other parts of the city and county.
