Blackfoot city leaders notified IDFG that they would no longer fill the pond with water. Officials say, as levels become unsuitable, fish will not be able to survive.
So, starting Wednesday through January 1, 2014, those with a valid Idaho fishing license can keep any amount of fish regardless of size and number limits.
And if you don't have a fishing pole, no worries, IDFG officials say you can catch the fish using any method with exception of firearms, explosives, chemicals or electric current.
