The Pocatello Zoo welcomes in a few new animals

Two new red foxes now call the zoo home. You don’t need to adjust your computer screen; these animals are still considered red foxes despite the obvious lack of red color. The animals are male and female with one having a white coat and the other having a black and silver coat.

The zoo is also happy to announce the addition of a new mountain lion. This cub was brought in from Montana as an orphan. The male cub, who goes by the name Stripe, weighs 19 lbs. Zoo officials expect him that he’ll be a huge draw when they open in April.

Stripe wasn’t the only animal that came to the zoo from Montana. He brought a buddy with him too. A tundra-swan now resides at the zoo as well.
