You’ve probably seen the show “Extreme Couponing” as well as others that are similar to it, but what you’re really wondering is, can it be done?

Well, the answer is yes. The good news is, anyone can do it, but it does take some time.

Right now we are going to walk you through how to use coupons so you can save some money.

In a world of loans and debt, every little bit of savings can help.

One way you can save some extra cash is by couponing. We get them in the mail on a daily basis, so why not take some time and use them?

“I save a lot more money using them, even just over time, even if I don’t use them every time, I save a lot more money on average on our grocery bill” said Elizabeth Cogliati.

One of our Facebook friends gave us a website to go to where we could find great deals and even freebees.

The website, The Krazy Coupon Lady has tips for beginners as well as frequently asked questions.

“Ok so this is my couponing organizer and it’s organized by month, and I just put them in for the month they’re going to expire, and so you can see it’s half empty, but you know you can see I’ve got them in November and December, we’re done with October, and then I’ve even got a few in here for January” continued Cogliati.

On average, if you do it right, couponing can save you about 75% off your grocery list.

If you’ve lost hope in newspapers, think again, many of the greatest coupon deals are within the pages of the Sunday paper.

“I’d say it’s worth it, it’s absolutely worth it, and start small, start with the newspaper inserts or you know the coupons that they have, there’s coupons at the entrance of most stores, so start small, sign up for a loyalty card, I get a lot of coupons that way” said Cogliati.

Another great tip is to organize your coupons by expiration date so you can use them before it’s too late.
