Two people are in custody after Pocatello Police say they were making counterfeit $100 bills.

Monday night, officers received a tip that 19-year-old Samantha Kukkonen-Peterson of Pocatello, and her boyfriend 22-year-old Richard Hart of Las Vegas were making fake bills.

Officers responded to a home in the 400 block of Garfield and were given access to the residence.

While inside, officers found a printer and other evidence that counterfeiting was taking place and took the pair into custody.

They were booked into the Bannock County Jail on felony charges.
