UPDATE: Pocatello Police have arrested the man they say robbed a local retailer last month.

Tuesday, officers arrested 23-year-old Joshua Michael Robertson in connection with an armed robbery at the KMart on Poleline road on the night of July 25th.

Robertson has been charged with robbery and is being held at the Bannock County Jail.

PREVIOUS STORY:
Police from Pocatello, Chubbuck and Bannock County searched the area around the KMart in Pocatello Thursday evening with dogs to look for a suspect who robbed the pharmacy.

On Friday Pocatello Police released a more detailed description of the suspect. The white male is described as six feet tall, thin build in his 20s with two to three days of facial hair growth. He was wearing camouflage pants, blue shirt or hoodie with a gray cloth on his head. Police say if you see or know the suspect you should not approach.

Call 234-6100 if you have information.

I agree. It is happening so often now that we need to know if it is all related or others are lerking in the bushes waiting their chance for hostage situations. Pocatello is a great city with wonderful people but our police department just doesn't step up to the plate like other bigger cities. No longer is this our childhood town. watch your neighbors, your neighborhoods, parking lots, be aware of who is around you and yours.

This is the third robbery in like a week and a half. Our police force needs to get on it. Why have we not seen a compiled sketch of this guy???? People saw him and talked to him. I work here and it's kinda scary to think he's still out there and the general public has no idea what he looks like. Clearly he thinks he's more clever than the police. Luckily no one has been injured even though he could have easily killed someone since he used a gun. Please protect our community, there are good people in potential danger. Thanks
