UPDATE: Investigators with the Pocatello Fire Department are looking into the cause of an early morning fire at an apartment complex in the 1000 Block of McKinley Avenue in Pocatello.

Acting Battalion Chief Mark Araki says the blaze was confined to one room and furniture was on fire. The apartment sustained some damage to drywall and one window was broken out.

The apartment was supposed to be vacant but some people had been staying there illegally. It was unfurnished except for a couch and that was where the fire originated. No injuries were reported.
