Pocatello Police caught up to a wanted man after he had eluded officers during a pursuit the night before.
Police arrested Matthew S. Buckskin Thursday on felony charges of eluding.
Buckskin had been cited Wednesday for a hit and run and reckless driving.
Pocatello police responded to an accident in the 200 block of North Union Pacific Avenue around 11:45 Wednesday night.
Officers later found Buckskin inside a bar.
Police warned him not to drive again until he was sober.
But later that night, Buckskin got into his car and started driving on North Main where he narrowly missed some parked vehicles.
An officer tried to stop Buckskin, but he refused, and a pursuit ensued.
Officers followed Buckskin on Highway 30 to Philbin road where he ran over a stop sign. Police decided to stop chasing Buckskin at Wallin Road.
