Many of you may remember the popular a cappella group Vocal Point from BYU who performed on NBC’s “The Sing Off.”
They didn’t win the show but that hasn’t stopped them, their next performance will be right here in east Idaho on Friday.
These young heart-throbs will be performing on the Brigham Young University – Idaho campus on Friday January 18th.
Vocal Point was on NBC’s “The Sing Off” for several weeks; they even made it to one the top five groups on the show.
“The range of music that they perform is very wide and that’s one reason why it is so appealing to such a broad audience” they said Center Stage Assistant Coordinator Dale Hillier.
Vocal Point is known for their high-energy performances that have won them the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella; and a worldwide following.
“One of their singers does nothing but percussing sounds, percussion, drums, and all kinds of things, in unique sounds, just high quality, very high quality group” continued Hillier.
The men will be performing in the Hart auditorium in the Hart building of the BYU-Idaho campus.
Tickets are $12 for general public and $6 for BYU-Idaho students.
