Thursday afternoon, a man wanted by Idaho Falls Police on multiple felony warrants was taken into custody.
According to police, officers spotted 35-year-old Bradley Sean Westbrook and 31-year-old Shante Marie Davaz walking near Lincoln Drive and John Adams Parkway.
Westbrook and Davaz both attempted to run and threw a backpack over a fence. Westbrook complied when officers ordered him to stop running.
Davaz continued running but was located in a vacant house in the 600 block of Holbrook.
When officers located the backpack they recovered 12 syringes, one was loaded with methamphetamine and three spoons with residue.
Westbrook has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Davaz was charged with unlawful entry, resisting and obstructing police officers, and four other warrants.
