Zion’s bank is reaching out the Pocatello community, first hand. Local Zion’s bank employees came to carols house in Pocatello. They are looking to make things easier for a person who needs that hand.
Co Captain Lisa Johnson added that, "We go in the community and try to pick out a home that needs that service done and we found a really good on this year. the lady has cancer and just had hip surgery and has been in need of a paint job for a while so were excited to paint her home."
This is the 23rd annual Paint-A-Thon from Zion’s bank and co-captains enjoys this unique opportunity
"This makes us feel so good because this these are homes that just need it. It’s something that’s easy for us to do. it only takes a few hours a couple (2-3) nights a week and were done. it just looks beautiful,"Johnson said.
Co-Captain rob McMinn noted that preparation laid the foundation to make this home look great.
He said that, "We did, we started with cleanup scraping the old paint, then prime and now doing the finishing coat. next was the trim and all the touch up work and going to get it completed tonight."
The weather cooperated and thanks to Zion’s bank, Carol’s home will have a fresh new look and be more prepared to face an Idaho winter.
