Banana Sheet Cake
2 cups shortening
2 cups sugar
4 Eggs
*Cream these ingredients together and then add the following:
1 cup buttermilk
6 cups flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Divide batter between two sheet cake pans that have been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350⁰ for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Frost with your favorite frosting (an almond white frosting works great).
