Players with the Helena Brewers will be short some of their equipment after police in Idaho Falls say the visiting team clubhouse at Melaleuca Field was burglarized.

Sergeant James Hoffman with the Idaho Falls Police Department says sometime between 4 and 7 Tuesday morning the visitors’ clubhouse was entered and several pieces of equipment were taken. Ten players reported missing gear including missing baseball gloves and sunglasses.

Tuesday night’s game against the Idaho Falls Chukars was rained out and will be made up as part of a double-header Wednesday night which starts at 5:15 pm.

Hoffman also says that they have no suspects in the case and ask that if you have any information on this crime to call the IFPD at 529-1200 or CrimeStoppers at 522-1983.
