Update:  The crash scene has been cleared and both lanes of northbound Interstate 15 have reopened to traffic.

A rollover accident caused both North-bound lanes of I-15 near Exit 80 to close for about 90 minutes Monday.

Police and EMTs responded to the Interstate this afternoon to assist Bertrand DeSilva from California who was driving a Winnebago with his family. DeSilva lost control of the vehicle and it overturned near the Fort Hall Exit. Traffic was re-routed off of Exit 80, while troopers from the Idaho State Police, Bingham County Sheriff’s Office and Fort Hall Police cleared the scene and assisted the motorists. DeSilva and his family were transported to Portneuf Medical Center by ground ambulance.
