New Technology Teaches Dangers of Texting and Driving 

Even though the message of “Don’t Text and Drive” is everywhere these days, drivers in Idaho are not getting that message. According to the Idaho Transportation Department, electronic devices were responsible for 27 percent of distracted driving accidents in 2014. That's up from 24 percent in 2012 when Idaho lawmakers passed a law trying to curb texting while driving.
