Adoption information

The Pocatello Animal Selter adoption fees:

Dogs: $100.00 + tax. It includes the following for dogs: at least the 1st vaccination for parvo virus and distemper, the spay or neuter surgery, a rabies vaccination, a City license, a collar and slip leash, plus a Microchip Implant and registration.

Cats: Cat adoption fees has been reduced to $30 +tax. Thanks to Friends of the Pocatello Animal Shelter for picking up the remainder cost ($50) of these adoptions. The adoption fee will cover: testing for leukemia and the feline AIDS virus on animals 6 months or older, at least 1 vaccination for upper respiratory and distemper, spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, a collar, cardboard carrier and the microchip implant plus registration *Please Note* All cats 6 months and older have to be fixed before leaving the shleter.
