- Idaho State men’s basketball coach Bill Evans has
announced another signee for the 2012 season. Ayibakuro Preh is a 6-9,
218-pound center from Miles City Community College in Mile City, Mont.
Preh is originally from Kano, Nigeria and his parents are Tari and
Bolaji Preh.

"We are excited to have Preh in our program,” Evans said. “His best
days of basketball are ahead of him. He can really help us at the
defensive end and we look for him to also help us offensively. He is
an outstanding student who plans to major in engineering."

At his previous college, Preh averaged 6.9 points, 8.5 rebounds and
25.3 minutes a game. He played in 33 games and started in 28. He shot
53 percent from the field and had a total of 93 blocks. His team went
26-7 overall and 11-3 in conference play.

As a freshman, Preh played in 22 games and started in three. He shot
62 percent from the field and averaged 5.86 points and 5.36 rebounds a
game. Preh ended up with a total of 34 blocks his freshmen year.

Preh was fourth in the region in rebounding as a sophomore and second
