POCATELLO, Idaho-

Idaho State football coach Mike Kramer has announced his 2014 recruiting class that signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday. Joining the Bengals next year are 10 defensive players, five on the offensive side of the ball and one special teams player.

Two of the 16 signings joined the program in January in Brian Fineanganofo and Cody Anderson. Chris Miedema (6-6, 315, Everett, Wash.) who signed last year, joined the program in January as well.

Coach Kramer has also announced that kicker
Zak Johnson will get put on scholarship next year and Riley Sessions has voluntarily left the program.

"What we have is a football program that returns 10 starters on offense and nine on defense," Kramer said. "If you look at where we are at as a program, compared to where we have been in years past I am pretty proud of the fact that this is a pretty small recruiting class as numbers go. You can look at our roster and see why. When you play two true freshmen that start 12 games on offense, you probably have a lot of good guys in your program for years to come."
