Idaho State University announced Tuesday that four players had been suspended from the football team. Now Pocatello Police say they have arrested two on drug charges.

Lt. Paul Manning announced Wednesday morning the arrests of Jordan Monga and Austin Schnizler for possession of a controlled substance.  The two were arrested at 425 S. 19th.  Lt. Manning would not release further details about the incident.

Two other Idaho State football players have also been dismissed from the team.  Ryan Coleman and Elijah Ruhl along with Monga and Schnizler were all dismissed for violation of the Idaho State Athletic Department Code of Conduct Policy.

ISU Media Relations Director Steve Schaack tells Matt Gittins that the school would have no further comment on the issue.
