Around 12:30 this morning, Idaho State Police, as well as deputies and paramedics from Bear Lake County responded to a crash at 51 Border Road, just south of U.S. Highway 30 near the Wyoming border.

27-year-old Philip Sorensen of Paris, Idaho was westbound in a Ford Bronco when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer. The vehicle went off the right shoulder, back onto the road and then rolled. The driver and two children were ejected from the vehicle. A passenger, 27-year-old Michelle Sorensen, along with the two children and Philip were taken to Bear Lake Memorial Hospital. Philip was then transported to the University of Utah. A four-year-old was transported to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.

None of the occupants were wearing seatbelts. Police have reopened the road after crews worked to remove the wreckage.
