The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office has responded to the Iona Post Office after a suspicious package was called in around 7:00 AM this morning. The package has now been detonated and investigators are looking to preserve what is left as evidence.
The package is the size of a shoe box. The box says "explosive device" on the side.
The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office asks the public to stay away from the area while crews are working the situation. If you saw anything suspicious around that area last night, or this morning you're asked to call the Bonneville County Sheriff's office at 529-1200.
