A Jerome man is in critical condition this morning after a single vehicle accident on Thursday.

According to Idaho State Police, 73-year-old Gerald Leggit was eastbound on 200 North Road in Jerome County, when he drifed into the westbound lane, overcorrected and lost control. His Pontiac Bonneville rolled once before coming to rest in a field. Leggit was transported to St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center and then to St. Al's in Boise where he is in critical condition.

Police do not suspect alcohol to be a factor and are continuing their investigation into the accident.
