Human rights group finds swastika on door

Associated Press - November 19, 2009 5:54 PM ET

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) - Officials at the Human Rights Education Institute in northern Idaho say a swastika decal was pasted on their front door.

Director of Operations Donna Cork reported the incident to Coeur d'Alene police on Thursday.

Cork says the sticker conveys a threat.

The Spokesman-Review reports police are investigating whether the incident falls under Idaho's malicious harassment law, which makes it illegal to intimidate another person based on race, color, religion, ancestry or national origin.
