No more wheeling patients across the bumpy road at all times of the year. Remodeling at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot just finished up.
Once you step onto their brand new elevator you are taken to the second floor of the main building that connects you to the skywalk. The skywalk is getting rave reviews from patients and their physicians. People even say the green windows cast an unbelievable, beautiful reflection onto the street at night.
Because of the hospital's newest facility, eighteen permanent doctors have been hired and thirty specialists are brought in on the third floor as needed.
Paul Kotter, PR Director for Bingham Memorial Hospital: "We've hired new physicians and it's been wonderful because they've been able to move into a specific building that was meant for them. Before, we always had to search for a place to put them and maybe do some remodeling."
Bingham Memorial Hospital's latest projects include the construction of a new intensive care unit. They have also recently added a new rehabilitation center to their list of services.
