Idaho settles price charges with Sanofi-Aventis

Associated Press - November 20, 2009 8:04 AM ET

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Idaho's Medicaid Division is getting a nearly $115,000 share from a nationwide settlement with French drug giant Sanofi-Aventis.

Attorney General Lawrence Wasden said Thursday the settlement resolves allegations that the company's Aventis Pharmaceutical unit knowingly misreported the lowest prices for three nasal sprays, Azmacort, Nasacort and Nasacort AQ.

The multistate and federal settlement totals $95.5 million.
