A 15-year-old boy was able to have his dreams come true today, all thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
It hasn't always been easy for Bryce, a 15-year-old boy who is homebound due to medical conditions. But today his dreams are coming true, with lunch, a limo ride, and a shopping spree any 15-year-old could enjoy.
Bryce was treated to a first-class limo ride from his house in Blackfoot to Idaho Falls, where he was able to spend the afternoon buying electronics from Best Buy.
Judy Gailey, Make-a-Wish volunteer: "Bryce has asked for a shopping spree. He is basically homebound, so this is the perfect wish for him."
Bryce and his family were able to go to the store and pick out any of the items he's always wanted.
Judy Gailey: He's just beaming in there, trying to decide which ones he wants, and we have several people helping him, and it's just a great day. It's his day."
The Make-a-Wish Foundation helps children whose lives are affected by illness and, in turn, lifts the spirits of family members.
Liz Roacsh, Bryce's mom: " I think that Make-a-Wish is a great organization. They really do make it special for the children that get to do this."
Bryce's step-dad: "I'd like to thank Make-a-Wish Foundation. They are a great organization. It's just like a Christmas you never had before, aint it?"
